PRIVACY POLICY FOR RAGER

Last updated: 2025/10/05

This policy explains how Insane Prey s.r.o. (“we”) processes data in the RAGER VR application (“App”).

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before experiencing RAGER.

1) Who is responsible (Controller)

Controller: Insane Prey s.r.o., Dlouha 730/35, 110 00 Prague, Czech Republic
Contact: privacy@insaneprey.com

Note: The App may be distributed by a third-party publisher, but Insane Prey s.r.o. is the sole entity that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data for RAGER.

2) Data we obtain and from where

a) Data from Meta Horizon (platform data)

  • Meta Horizon user ID and/or username
  • Leaderboard data (score, rank, related stats)

b) Device/User data generated by your headset while playing

  • Head and hand tracking/pose data (e.g., position, orientation, hand states/gestures)
  • Controller inputs and haptics (button presses, swings, vibration events)
  • Session/technical telemetry necessary to render frames and detect collisions (frame timing, physics state)

How we use/process this device data: It is processed in real time on your device to make gameplay work (movement, hits, blocks, dodges). We do not record or permanently store raw head/hand tracking data on our servers, and we do not transmit it to third parties. Any transient buffers exist only for immediate gameplay and are discarded.

We do not access microphone/camera content for these purposes (beyond what the system uses to run the headset), and we do not create biometric identifiers or profiles from tracking data.

3) Why we process this data (purposes) & legal bases

  • Provide the service: enable submission and display of leaderboards; maintain game integrity/anti-cheat.
Legal basis: performance of contract (to provide requested features).
  • Improve and secure the App: troubleshoot, prevent misuse/fraud.
    Legal basis: legitimate interests.

4) Sharing & processors

  • Meta Horizon (platform): We submit your score via Meta’s official SDK and fetch leaderboard entries to display in-game.
  • No third-party processors: We do not send Meta-derived personal data to other vendors or our own servers for these features. If this changes, we will update this policy and list any processors.

5) Retention

We retain leaderboard data as long as necessary to operate the leaderboard or as required by law. Aggregated, non-identifiable statistics may be kept longer.

6) International transfers

Data may be processed on infrastructure operated by Meta. Where applicable, transfers are protected by Meta’s transfer safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses). We do not maintain separate external copies outside the platform.

7) Your rights

You can request deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise rights, contact privacy@insaneprey.com. For data that Meta controls, we may direct you to Meta.

8) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures and rely on Meta’s platform security for leaderboard operations. Access is limited to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.

9) Requests from public authorities

We review the legality of any request, minimize disclosures to what is legally required, challenge unlawful or overbroad requests, and document our responses. Where permitted, we will notify affected users.

10) Children

The App is not directed to children under the minimum age required by the Meta platform in your region (e.g., typically 13; see Meta terms). We do not knowingly process children’s personal data for leaderboard features.

11) Changes

We may update this policy. If material changes occur, we will notify you in-app or on our website.
